Elizalde recognizes that her compositions are complex, that she uses different plastic resources, not only the brush, but also the superimposition of layers of paint and glazes. For her, her painting is evolution because art is also evolution and commitment to oneself.

His aesthetic proposal does not cease to be intimate and introspective. At this stage of his life, he develops and communicates with his creations in a serene way, connecting with his most spiritual, intuitive and emotional part.

She contemplates the natural, the living, she is very present and shares and thanks through her works the experience of living, without asking too many questions. She tells us: “I connect with the real, the real does not speak, when I paint I do not speak, I live, I speak of living, without words, the experience precedes my words. In this experience is my reality”.

Mercedes, with her constant work, conquers large doses of freedom. Thus, when contemplating her works, she gives us precise information of her personality, as she enjoys creating, inviting us, in addition, to cross a reality that we believe to be impassable, letting us be carried away by her inner strength as an artist and by her authenticity as a person, achieving that the spectator is invaded by an enormous vitalist potential.
