Creciente is a group of works within a larger project called Laboratorio doméstico. It is composed of different lines of work developed within the habitable space through collages, paintings, sculptures and digital drawings. In this particular laboratory, the research focuses on the possibilities of plastic art as a language, using the minimum necessary resources and in dialogue with the history of art. To this end, geometry, representation systems and visual recycling are used.

Crescent refers to the precise moment of a cycle, when the idea is maturing and developing within its own possibilities. It starts from the circle as a modular element that folds, divides and turns to open; occupying the space that its area allows. But always connected to the wall, with the clear intention of stating that this series of pieces are the result of a plastic experimentation connected to the pictorial practice.

Creciente is the state of the question of an artistic evolution that, without forgetting its origins, responds to the curious gaze in constant formation. The title gives name to a phase of the lunation, which leads us to inscribe it in a cyclical process. A trajectory that is not necessarily oriented to end in the same place where it begins; it is just delimiting a period.
