UNIDENTIFIED GREEN OBJECT
Unidentified objects starts from an idea open to interpretation, an ambiguity that opens up a range of creative possibilities, allowing the exhibition to revolve around a reflection on the unknown, the hidden, the marginal and the surprising. Artistic experiences, although diverse, converge in the same space to be appreciated without barriers or prejudices.
The project gathers the graphic, plastic and photographic work of a group of 15 artists from the BERDE Collective who have been accompanied and nurtured by 12 artists invited to develop a workshop, which are also integrated in the exhibition, reinforcing diversity as a common thread.
The central concept is to highlight the richness of artistic expressions in their diversity, showing how the different does not limit, but expands the possibilities of contemporary art. How other ways of seeing the world can merge into creations that reveal new meanings. Collaborative pieces add an additional layer of richness, showing how the exchange of knowledge and experiences enhances creation.
On a deeper level, the exhibition also addresses the idea of how people, like objects, are often classified or labeled in ways that do not always reflect their true essence. Unidentified objects become a metaphor for those aspects of life and humanity that do not fit into easy or preconceived categories, and thus the need to break down stereotypes and prejudices, particularly around disability.

BERDE es un proyecto de arte y transformación social impulsado en Asturias y formado por un equipo de personas profesionales de diversas formaciones, cuyo objetivo es motivar la creación de un espacio de expresión a través del arte, para personas con Diversidad Funcional. BERDE es una Asociación no lucrativa inscrita en el Principado de Asturias.
Nuestra propuesta es el resultado de una larga experiencia de trabajo en la gestión de proyectos artísticos de innovación social desarrollados en diferentes estudios de Arte nacionales e internacionales.
Nuestro método consiste en organizar talleres de expresión artística compartidos con artistas, cuya duración y contenidos están especialmente diseñados para el colectivo al que van dirigidos. Respetar el desarrollo personal, el acompañamiento, los tiempos y la libertad de las personas participantes son la premisas básicas que fundamentan estos talleres.
Apostamos por el trabajo interdisciplinar, integrador y de apoyo a la creación contemporánea. Tenemos un compromiso con la sociedad, con el cambio y la innovación.
